BettySoo Opening A String Of Alejandro Escovedo Tour Dates, Live KUT Session This Week

New Album When We’re Gone Out May 27th

May 13, 2014 – BettySoo – who the Austin American-Statesman says creates "exceptionally well-arranged songs, as easily equal in precision to, say, Patty Griffin or Alison Krauss” – was tabbed to open a string of June dates for Austin legend Alejandro Escovedo.  BettySoo will hit the road performing songs from her new album When We’re Gone, out May 27th.  The album is a musical document of BettySoo’s past five years and the madness circling around her and those she loved.  Divorces, rehab, mental hospitals, runaways, innocence lost.  She’s previewing songs from the new album this week on her hometown NPR-affiliate station KUT during a LIVE in-studio with her band on Wednesday, May 14th at 2pm CT.  Stream the session at http://kut.org.
