Crockett plays Ohana Festival this weekend, touring arenas and outdoor amphitheaters with Chris Stapleton in October

September 27, 2023 – On November 14, 2022, Charley Crockett played his first-ever show at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN, a sellout which Marcus K. Dowling at the Tennessean praised as "country music's mother church turning into a 2,500-seat honky-tonking juke joint." This Friday, September 29, Crockett will release Live from the Ryman, a document of the raucous, celebratory evening. The full show will be available as an album as well as a beautifully shot concert film. Crockett and his ace band pulled from Crockett’s deep catalogue – 12 albums and counting – and mixed in covers from George Jones, Tanya Tucker, James “Slim” Hand, Jerry Reed, T-Bone Walker and Townes Van Zandt. NPR World Café will air a four song mini-concert of Live from the Ryman tracks today, while SiriusXM Outlaw Country (channel 62) will premiere the full Live from the Ryman album tomorrow, Thursday, September 28th, at 7pm CT/8pm ET. The Live from the Ryman concert film will premiere on YouTube this Friday, September 29th for a limited two-week run.

“I wanted to play on that stage so badly, but I didn’t know how it would ever happen,” admits Crockett in a letter to fans about Live from the Ryman. “That’s what was running through my mind the night The Blue Drifters and I played the Ryman for the first time.”

Crockett released his last full-length album The Man From Waco - which Rolling Stone named the #2 best Country album of 2022 - last year, and the momentum he built has continued into 2023. Over a three month stretch earlier this year, Crockett made his NPR Tiny Desk debut, appeared on The Daily Show (interview + performance), and appeared on the June 2023 cover of Texas Monthly. Crockett performed at both nights of Willie Nelson’s 90th birthday celebration at the Hollywood Bowl in April, and made his Bonnaroo debut this summer.

Crockett wrapped up his latest Europe/UK tour last week, and this weekend he will make his debut at the Ohana Festival in Dana Point, CA this weekend. Crockett will spend most of October as direct support to Chris Stapleton in arenas and amphitheaters as part of the latest leg of the “All-American Roadshow.”
