David Crosby Heads Into “Undiscovered And Invigorating Territory” (USA Today) On New Album Out Tomorrow

Crosby Worked With “Lighthouse” Band – Becca Stevens, Snarky Puppy’s Michael League + Michelle Willis – On Here If You Listen

Tour With “Lighthouse” Band Begins November 2nd, Added To GroundUP Music Festival In Miami, FL In February

October 25, 2018 - David Crosby will release his new album Here If You Listen tomorrow on BMG. It’s the 77-year-old Crosby’s fourth solo album in five years, and continues an unexpected late-career creative streak. A joyfully adventurous album, Crosby is buoyed on it by his “Lighthouse” band - Michael League of Snarky Puppy, Michelle Willis and Becca Stevens. Here If You Listen is a highly collaborative effort, with all four artists trading off lead vocals and bringing their distinct songwriting to the mix.

The foursome will kick off a tour in support of the new record on November 2nd, and have also announced they will play the GroundUP Music Festival in Miami Beach, FL February 8-10, 2019.

Here If You Listen is already winning early praise, here’s what we’ve been hearing:

“The album retains Crosby’s trademarks — unusual guitar tunings, dissonant harmonies, floaty melodies — but injects kaleidoscopic vocal arrangements that launch his music in fresh directions.”

-Rolling Stone

“Undiscovered and invigorating territory.”

-USA Today

“A rich partnership of harmonies and creativity… the tunes are full of vocal harmonies and exquisite details, as songwriting and instrumental duties are shared in varied combinations.”

-Associated Press

“Crosby has had a shockingly productive third act this decade...During this period, Crosby has made his best music since 1977’s CSN, essentially picking up where that album’s wised-up, jazz-leaning soft-rock sound left off.”

-Uproxx

“Crosby's vocals on ‘Vagrants Of Venice,’ wondrously capture his rich, classic timbre. Over a hypnotic guitar line, sparse, haunting instrumentation and Crosby's lead vocals, all four members' harmonies wrap around each other with exquisite nuance, bringing the song to a magical climax.”
