David Crosby “Just Warming Up As A Solo Artist” (USA Today), Announces Spring/Summer 2018 Tour Dates

Crosby Will Perform Songs From His “Most Stylistically Diverse And Sonically Lush Solo Album” (Spin) Sky Trails, As Well As Songs From Throughout His Legendary Career

February 27, 2018 - At 76, David Crosby has experienced a late career resurgence unlike almost any other in the history of rock & roll. Last year, Crosby released the acclaimed Sky Trails (BMG), his third solo album in four years, and he will head out this spring to perform songs from the album as well as from throughout his legendary career. Crosby and his ace band - his son (and Sky Trails producer) James Raymond on keys, Mai Agan on bass, Steve DiStanislao on drums, Jeff Pevar on guitar and Michelle Willis on keys and vocals – will kick off the tour May 19th in Tulsa, OK. The 21-date tour incudes a show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre with the Avett Brothers, a show in Vienna, VA with Alison Krauss, as well as a date at Tanglewood with Mary Chapin Carpenter and Chris Hillman.

In his eighth decade, Crosby is not only surviving, but also thriving personally and creatively. As Uproxx said in a feature last year, "you don’t find too many artists out there on the other side of 75 still plugging away and making new music. Practically no one of that age is laying down some of the best material of their careers. Then again, David Crosby isn’t like most other artists." Sky Trails takes Crosby in a new musical direction as the set tilts toward a full band sound and deep, soulful grooves. Watch Crosby and a nine-piece band perform Sky Trails single “She’s Got To Be Somewhere” last year on the Tonight Show here.

Ahead of the tour, Crosby will head back into the studio in April to record another new album.
