Album out this Friday on Forty Below Records, SXSW And Tour Next Month

Listen To Felony Blues Here

February 21, 2017 – Jaime Wyatt’s new album Felony Blues, out this Friday on Forty Below Records, is becoming one of the most talked about country releases of 2017. Today, you can hear the full album via Noisey.  After an album release show in Los Angeles this Saturday, Wyatt will kick off a short tour with two shows in Nashville on the way to SXSW. Full list of tour dates below, more dates to be added soon.

Here’s what we’ve been hearing about Wyatt and Felony Blues:

“For fans ofMargo Price, Elizabeth Cook, outlaw country artists who have actually served time.”

-Rolling Stone Country - “Ten New Country Artists You Need To Know”

“Fueled by electric twang-rock that hints at a countrified Tom Petty and a hardened Lucinda Williams. That is, if either had spent time in prison as Wyatt has.”

-The Los Angeles Times

“Listen to the music of Jaime Wyatt and you'll hear a lot of things. There’s the twang of Buck Owens, mixed with the freewheeling sounds of The Byrds or Rick Nelson’s later Decca recordings. Sprinkle in a dash of the eternal cool factor of Linda Ronstadt, and you’re very close to the unique musical stylings of Felony Blues.”

-Billboard.

“Think Bonnie Raitt with a backstory closer to Boosie.”

-L.A. Weekly

“Push play on this album and you’ll be reminded of the first time you heard some of the iconic female voices of roots country pop/rock such as Linda Ronstadt, Sheryl Crow or Miranda Lambert. Jaime Wyatt may not have a career like those icons (yet) but opening track ‘Wishing Well’ jumps out of the speakers with the same confidence and undeniable vocal self-assurance that immediately announces an impressive new talent.”

-American Songwriter

“Keep your eye out for this one.”

-Saving Country Music
