“Rightfully Buzzing” (Rolling Stone) Lera Lynn Announces Additional Fall Headlining Tour Dates

35-Date Tour Includes Americana Fest Performance And Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Appearance For True Detective Breakout Singer

NPR World Café Session Airing September 16th

September 8, 2015 - Lera Lynn today announces additional dates for her fall 2015 tour, bringing the current total to 35 shows, her most extensive headlining tour to date. The tour will begin at Lynn’s showcase at the Americana Music Festival in Nashville - Rolling Stone Country calls Lynn one of the “rightfully buzzing favorites” playing the fest - and will also include a slot at this year’s Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival in San Francisco, CA. On September 16th, the day before the tour kicks off, Lynn will be featured on NPR World Café.

Lynn has five songs featured on the recently released True Detective soundtrack, and her music played a huge role in the past season (she was also featured on the show). "The Only Thing Worth Fighting For", the devastating track she co-wrote with T Bone Burnett and Roseanne Cash, was featured in the show’s trailer, which has been viewed 35 million and counting across YouTube, Vevo and Facebook. Lynn recently spoke to Rolling Stone and Billboard about the experience and what’s next, including the recording of her third album, currently taking place in Nashville.

Lynn self-released her smoldering sophomore album The Avenues near the end of 2014, receiving praise from the likes of Rolling Stone, NPR All Things Considered, Billboard, the Wall Street Journal and American Songwriter, and appeared with her band on the Late Show with David Letterman earlier this year.
