April 22, 2014 – USA Today has the premiere of the music video for “See The Light,” a standout track from Matrimony’s Columbia Records full-length debut Montibello Memories, out May 6th.  The video was shot during a recent show Matrimony had at the Chop Shop in the band’s hometown of Charlotte, NC.  The song is "a stirring, soulful number built around banjo, piano and percussion, with rapturous harmony vocals on the chorus” (Wall Street Journal).

Last week the band’s NPR Mountain Stage debut began to air national, stream the set here:

Matrimony will be touring extensively throughout the Spring and Summer – including an NYC show at Mercury Lounge on April 30th.  Current dates can be found here:

Fronted by husband and wife Jimmy Brown (vocals, guitar) and Ashlee Hardee Brown (vocals, keyboards), Matrimony is rounded out by Ashlee’s brothers Jordan Hardee (drums) and CJ Hardee (mandolin, banjo).  The family dynamic creates a deeply intuitive musical connection that can be heard on record and is even clearer during the band’s live shows.

Montibello Memories is now available for pre-sale here:
